Your desktop got a buddy.
And Buddy got a team.
Buddy from The Stupid Browser now lives on your Mac, your Windows PC and your Android phone. Tell it what you need and its helpers get to work: tidying files, writing for you and looking things up. It always asks before it moves or deletes anything.
Meet the team
Buddy listens, then hands each job to the right helper.

Answers in seconds. Your requests go to Groq.
A generous free amount every day. Your requests go to Google.
Pick any model marked free. Your requests go to OpenRouter.
Get Buddy going
About two minutes.
Download it. Mac: unzip and drag The Stupid Buddy into Applications (first time: right-click → Open → Open). Windows: run the installer (if Windows warns you, click More info → Run anyway). Android: open the APK on your phone and allow the install.
Choose a brain. Free online: get a key at Groq or Google and paste it in Buddy’s Settings. Or on your computer: install Ollama and run ollama pull qwen3-vl:8b-instruct.
Talk to Buddy. On a Mac or PC, click the ball in the corner of your screen. On a phone, just open the app (and fling Buddy’s ball around if you like).
The family
Buddy has two siblings. Same look, same Buddy.
